Most of the people (including me) have a false belief that Web designing requires lots of technical knowledge and only a technical graduate can do it properly. But STEPS proved it wrong. Being an MFA graduate I was able to create and design new things and STEPS training helped me to gain the technical knowledge of web designing. And I used my creativity in designing web pages. Hello there, My name is Smriti from Palakkad. Completed graduation in B Tech EC from NSS College of Engineering, Palakkad. Currently working as Network Administrator Trainee in an IT company Called NY System which is located in Infopark Cochin. People say, it is difficult for a girl to get a job in networking field. But I proved it wrong, by taking a CCNA training From STEPS Training Center which is the Training and Development wing of Spectrum Softtech Softtech Solutions. It was a one month program and I worked with the real working environment of an IT company. And next week after completing my CCNA training, I got job in NY Systems. Hi guys.. I would like to share my experience in STEPS with you.. Myself Antony James, completed Bsc Maths from St. Aloysius College. After completing graduation I was in confusion, weather to look for a job or to go for higher studies. At that time an Executive from STEPS called me to inform IT opportunities in STEPS. I was wondered because I am not a B tech or BE or MCA graduate, what can I do in IT sector?. But I visited STEPS for more information. I had a friendly conversation with the officials of STEPS and they have provided me the information regarding the opportunities in IT sector for general graduates. They also provided me the details of Training programs in STEPS which will make a fresher 100% employable. Then I joined STEPS as a Linux on the Job trainee. STEPS provided me training in Spectrum Softtech Solution’s working environment, where I have to deal with real time problems. After completing training STEPS give me a chance to work with Spectrum as an Intern. Now I am working in Icafs Technologies Pvt.Ltd as Linux admin. Hai friends.. My name is Hariharan, Completed Bsc IT from Nehru Institute of engineering and technology. I would like to inform you that, I got job In Aries International as an SEO analyst. When I said this to my friends, many of my friends doesn’t know what SEO is. Couple of months ago I was like them; I didn't know that there is a function called Search Engine optimization. I heard it firstly from STEPS training center when I visited there for IT opportunities. And I realized that it is an emerging function in industry and it has got lot of job opportunities. I did my Post Graduation in computer science from UIT College Alappuzha After my education, I have tried for jobs but no use, everybody wants experienced candidate and which was lacking in me.
